FAQ and Program Details

When is the program?

Right now, we’re gathering applications of highly motivated professional women who are ready to embark on a transcendental leadership journey. As soon as we have found the right group of women for an amazing experience, we will use a survey to find the best weekend in the Spring of 2024.

Once we set a date, we will notify applicants by e-mail. Then, you can finalize your spot in the program after payment of the program fee.

Cost

The retreat is an all-inclusive weekend: we have you covered for a full 2 days of professionally hosted workshops, meals, and accommodations. All you need to do is arrive on time to our meeting point (which is always at a train station) with outdoor-appropriate clothing and shoes for the weekend. The all-inclusive cost is 900€ - a deal compared to the same opportunities in a corporate setting.

You will not be asked to pay a fee until the program dates are set - however, your seat in the program will not be guaranteed until payment is received.

If the cost is too steep, please contact us. We can keep you informed about other trainings and events that may fit you better!

Timing and Location of Meeting Point

We will select the location of the Meeting Point and notify you as soon as we have selected it. The site will be a train station close to one of the natural sites in the Netherlands such as the Veluwe.

We will ask for all participants to arrive at the Meeting point by 9:30 on Saturday of the retreat

Lodging

We will select lodging close to one of the natural sites in the Netherlands, generally in a small cabin. You can expect to sleep on a bed, but you may share a room or cabin with another one of the participants. Depending on the site, bathrooms may be outside of the cabin and shared with the wider campground.

If you have special requests regarding lodging arrangements, please let us know when you apply.

Food and Meals

All food and meals are included, including water and snacks during our hikes and outdoors activities (we provide, you carry in own backpack). Because we are sustainability-focused, all meals will be vegetarian, with a focus on locally produced products.

If you have special dietary preferences, please include these when you contact us to apply.

What physical activities should I be prepared for?

We will spend most of this weekend in nature outdoors, and our activities will include a few hours of hiking. It is important to make sure that you are comfortable with this type of physical activity, and that you dress appropriately for the weather.

Dress code: What do we mean by outdoor-appropriate clothing and shoes?

We spend most of this weekend in the outdoors of the Netherlands in the spring - which means being prepared for Dutch weather! Please come prepared for rain or shine. We recommend:

  1. Water-proof hiking shoes that are broken in (e.g. you’ve worn them before, enough times to avoid blisters on our hikes)

  2. Rain jacket

  3. Rain pants

  4. Dress in layers

  5. Small backpack to carry your snacks and water

  6. Bring extra clothes (in case you get wet)
